Answer: Yes, I realized that my writing skills have improved much better compared to the beginning of the class. Especially, I have learned how to write clear essay by providing straightforward thesis statement, topic sentences and supporting examples. Moreover, I found out that the most grammar mistake I make is choosing or deleting either a or the in the essay. I want to continue writing several essays so I could fix this grammar mistakes and improve my English skills.

Answer: At first, I had difficulties reading the contexts and answering to the questions. Even though I read it, I could not remember the texts. However, I get to read contexts and understand it faster and easier than before because of the constant readings. In addition, I get to catch the key points of the reading passage, which is one of the improvements I achieved in this class. I want to continue reading english reading passages, news, and literatures so I could maintain my english comprehension skills and also for memorizing vocabularies.

Answer: I actually have one Korean blog, but I had not used it for a long time. Blogging was a great practice to study english in several areas like vocabulary, grammar and organization etc. To be honest, I think I would have enjoy it more if there were more interesting topics to discuss. For example, fashion, trends, foods, sports, favorite musics etc. I think reading other friend’s blog is also a great way to improve my english skills. For me, I actually seen some great and advanced phrases and vocabularies from several blogs that it was helpful for me to write good essays.
5.What did you learn this semester? What do you want to learn in future semesters?
Answer: By reading several passages in class, I get to know some interesting facts and information in several fields like Psychology, Sociology, and Environment etc. If I have chance, I would like to study theories or research in Political Science and Diplomacy, History, Education and Entertainments etc.
6.What were some of the best and/or worst aspects of this course? Would you recommend this course to others? Why or why not?
Answer: For me, probably writing and reading contexts constantly every week were the most difficult process in this class. However, after finishing this course, I notice that it was possible for me to study english continuously and improving my english studies because of these mandatory works. Hence, I would like to recommend this class for those who definitely wants or expects certain improvements in English language.
7.Please share any other thoughts about the semester.
Answer: Overall, it was a satisfying course because I get to learn interesting topics in reading passages, and even learn how to write essay with thesis statements, topic sentences and supporting examples. Most importantly, studying grammars, which is my weakest area in studying English, during class was really helpful for me to write better essay.
