Flower can also be a helpful tool to find more specific evidences in crime.
In 1992, plant DNA evidence led to solve  a murder case in the state of Arizona, United States.
At first, the crime suspect denied his crime, claiming he had never been in the crime scene.
Moreover, he even accused the victim of robbery. In order to find clear evidences to solve the crime, dectectives searched the suspects truck and found seed pods. This became very important clue because palo verde trees have unique pattern of DNA. By analyzing the seed pods, detectives could find if the analysis matchs with the exact tree located in the crime scence. Hence, it turned out to be the crime suspect was guilty and it was possible to end this case perfectly because of palo verde tree.

Nowadays, we could find out more specific information about how the person was killed by using new developed technologies, such as CT imaging. By using CT imaging, scientists found out how Iceman, Europe's oldes mummy, had been killed in past. According to the result, Iceman had been killed brutally because there was an arrowhead in his left shoulder, several wounds on his hands and injuries of violent fights. In addition, CT imaging caught that Iceman's stomach was full, meaning he had a nice meal before his death. By looking at these clues, scientist claimed that the Iceman was probably killed by one or more enemies right after a meal.
